Dosey Privacy Policy
Dosey is a local-first personal routine tracking app. The information you enter, your progress records, notes, and settings are stored on your device and are not sent to Dosey servers. The only information that leaves your device is limited, anonymous usage analytics, which never includes your health information and which you can turn off.
Data Stored On Your Device
The app may store information you enter, including your first name or nickname, routine schedule, logged entries, personal notes, optional progress readings, optional body measurements, and app settings.
This data is stored in the app's local storage on your phone. Dosey does not create accounts, operate a production database, or sync this information across devices.
Anonymous Usage Analytics
To understand how the app is used and to improve it, Dosey collects limited, anonymous usage analytics through PostHog, a product-analytics provider (data is processed in the United States). This records only basic app activity — for example, that the app was opened, or that a shot, weight, or daily entry was saved.
These analytics never include your health information. No doses, medication names, symptoms, weights, readings, the dates of your entries, or your notes are ever collected or transmitted. The data is not linked to your name, and Dosey does not create an account for you.
Dosey can also show optional reminders (for example, a daily weight nudge or a check-in reminder). These reminders are scheduled on your phone, never contain your health data, and can be turned off in Settings.
You can turn analytics off at any time in Settings, under “Anonymous analytics.”
Sharing And Retention
Dosey does not sell, share, or transmit your stored tracking data to Dosey servers. The anonymous usage analytics described above are the only data that leaves your device, and they never include your tracking data. Your data remains on the device unless you choose to export it or your device backup settings copy app data elsewhere.
If you uninstall Dosey, reset app storage, or clear app data, your locally stored data may be deleted from the device.
Optional Feedback
If you choose to send a suggestion, Dosey opens a draft in your email app. Dosey does not automatically attach your stored routine entries, notes, progress readings, or settings.
Your feedback email and email address leave the app through your email provider. Avoid including sensitive personal details unless you intentionally choose to share them.
Deletion And Export
You can reset local app data from Settings. You can also export a local JSON copy of your Dosey data from Settings before resetting or changing devices.
